A suit isn't just a suit anymore. In today's rocky economy, a man's suit indicates whether he's just starting out, quickly climbing the executive ladder or firmly entrenched in executive row. Don't think a suit speaks volumes? Try showing up at a four-star restaurant in an £80 blazer and see whether the maitre d' smiles and says, "Your table is waiting," or sniffs, "Sorry, please wait at the bar."
